SILVER SNEAKERS® Silver Sneakers Muscle Strength and Range of Movement focuses on a variety of exercises designed to increase muscular strength, range of movement and activities for daily living. Hand-held weights, elastic tubing with handles, and a Silver Sneakers® ball are all used for resistance, and a chair is used for seated and/or standing support. SENIOR WATER AEROBICS These classes are held in the shallow end of the Downtown Y pool and are perfect for the new exerciser or those with limitations because of the low-intense, low-impact nature. The weight of the water provides muscle strengthening and cardiovascular qualities, while the buoyancy offers mobility due to light weightedness. |
PEDAL POWER!
A new exercise class specifically developed for individuals with limited mobility. This class involves deep breathing exercises, range of motion, and the use of stationary floor pedals all from a comfortable Seated position. Ideal movement for people with Parkinson’s disease, arthritis, cardio rehab and other limitations. Come join a friendly group with trained and caring and friendly staff and let the power of pedaling work for you! |

Pickleball is a combination of tennis, badminton, and ping pong. A smaller court makes it low impact, easier on the joints, and ideal for all ages.
